Poricha kulambu - Tirunelveli Samayal



Ingredients
Toor dal 1/2 cup - cooked with 3 pods garlic
drumstick leaves a handful
Drumstick - 1(cut and cooked)
snake gourd (optional) - 1/2(cut and cooked)

to be ground
coconut scraping - 1/4 cup
jeerakam/cumin - 1 tsp
milagu/pepper - 5 corns
corriander seeds - 1/4 tsp
green chilly - 2 
(grind the above to a fine paste)

Method
In a kadhai ,heat coconut / cooking oil .
add mustard seend allow it to pop add curry leaves .
now add the dal and drumstick ,leaves n the ground paste . add salt .bring to a boil ..simmer till raw smell of coconut leaves .
Serve hot with rice.
